Of a CONJUNCTION.
A CONJUNCTION is an indeclinable part of Speech, that coupleth and joyneth wordes and sentences together. |
Some are Copulatives; As, Ende, ofte En, And, Alsoo, Also, Oock, Also, or Eke, Desgelijcks, Likewise, Noch, Neither, or Nor, Noch oock, Nor also. |
Disjunctives: As, Of, Either, or Whether, Of dat, If that, or Whether that, Anders, ofte Andersins, Else, or Otherwise, Ten minsten, At the least. |
Discretives: As, Maer, ofte Doch, But, or Yet, Maer of, But if, or But whether, Maer niet tegenstaende, But notwithstanding, Maer nochtans, But yet, Maer niet-te-min, But neverthelesse, Maer oock, But also, Maer wie het zy, But who soever it be. |
Causals: As, Want, ofte Om, For, Om dat, Because, Waerom, Wherefore, Daerom, Dies, ofte Deshalven, Therefore, Om dier oorsaeck wille, For this cause sake, Nadien dat, For as much as, Aengesien dat, Considering that, or Sith, or Seing that. |
Conditionals: As, Indien, If, Indien dat, If that, In geval dat, In case that, Indien het soo is, If it be so, Maer indien dat, But if that, Terwijl dat, Whilst that, or In the meane while. |
