To be a white man
these days
is more than ever a shame
because
there are black men
black women
black children
oppressed by the whites
white men
white women
malicious white children
grown up in the crazyness of white superiority
as if
color
could ever be a reason te be proud of
fine and tender black girls
are being raped by voluptuous and sadistic white boys
innocent negroes
are hanged up on equally innocent trees:
when a white man rapes a white girl it's his right
when a black man misunderstands a challenging white girl
it's rape
ending on the electric chair
but when a white man rapes a fine negro girl
there's only perverse laughter
and vigor boast.
To be a white man
these days
is more than ever a big shame.
