Elisabeth Moore schrijft over zichzelf:

Born 18-12-1957, Lancashire, England.

At age 15, taken to New Zealand. Spent five years there and in Australia on the road; almost died of boredom and/or hangovers. Left. Am living in Amsterdam with my girl friend, working as a chambermaid.

Forgive me for
sitting under the table
when I say

‘I love you’

but it seems

appropriate

somehow.

Saturday morning

Eyes
orbiting behind flaps
of ageing flesh on a hinge
slowly
open and close
back into the darkroom
to develop
yet another
portrait of a hangover.
