A certain new way of watches or clockes, to be used at sea, for exact measuring of time, differenced from all other sortes by hauing in stead of a Ballance, a rod of wire, or thin narrow plate with a weight at the lower end thereof, called A Pendulum, and at the upper end, an Arme with two Catches or Rules to moue it, & certain crooked plates or cheekes for regulating the motion of it & fitted with Balls & sockets to hang by for going at sea. lately inuented &c.
