In de afleveringen van juni, september en december van De Beweging 1913 publiceerde De Haan ‘aanvullingen’ bij zijn vroegere stukken over Rusland. In het oktobernummer, tussen de bedrijven door, verscheen een groot gedeelte van ‘Antwerpsche Libertijnen’ in het tijdschrift. In juli had De Haan bij Verwey op uitstel van publikatie aangedrongen: ‘Het spijt mij voor Georges Eekhoud, die de fragmenten gaarne lezen wil, maar de Russen moeten voorgaan’908.. Een ander deel der ‘Antwerpsche Libertijnen’ verscheen in Het jaar der Dichters 1914 (1913); redakteur Greshoff had erom gevraagd. En De Haan schreef Greshoff: ‘geef mij 't boek terug. Ik kreeg het van Eekhoud. Foei!’909. De volgende kaart kreeg Eekhoud uit Almelo (afgestempeld: 20 september 1913). |
