Transverse measurementStone is hard
standing, like us
unnoticed, time flows by
memories rise
and, ragged and torn, ebb away
listen, -
stone is hard
but it lives, like us
a stone is structure
(natural stone, natural structure)
like us,
standing, waiting, watching
enclosing dreams, a thought,
reaching from earth to heaven

Years ago it was - and still
words of lost poems
flutter in the wind
(carried away in fragments)
look - I have shown you
the back of my head
do you still see it? I wonder
but for the transgression
of a yearning heart in pain
just one drop of water
opposing fire,
in eyes and thought
been waiting so long.

Waiting for the Sun

whilst the waters flow past
whispering trees
birds circle & chirp a song
waiting stone
for the Sun
In the Hibernian Mysteries,
the song of the Seer, - (a Druid's dream)
Sky-mirror, white Flame
Axe & Arrow on Dragon Hill
sparkling quartz in the Centre
and patting feet, a flute calling
bountiful is the harvest, (refreshing breeze)
this Earth, this Nature

Stone in stone,
hard,
eye
stone
clouds
water
grass & trees
stone
wind & rain
upon the mountain
stone-heavy
immovable.
Stone is stone
Earth & Sky.
The sleep of Dragons
is the slumber of those that wait.
Moonlight-reflecting
I travelled, coveting dreams
carrying the burden
of the inexpressible
touched by
joy & pain, inside between
walls of lost houses, locked rooms
scarred, lost connection
like hope & fear, perhaps
lonely human
solitary stone.
